Davao City (7 May) — With plastics bags lasting for 100 years and if not properly stored or recycled become harmful to the environment, the SM City Davao has shifted to using biodegradable sando bags and the green bags.
SM supermarket assistant store manager Melbert V. Villegas during the Tuesday forum with Davao business reporters at the MediSpa bared that the mall consumed about 309,000 plastic bags a month.
