Quality teachers for quality education

On Oct. 5, 1966 the UNESCO and the International Labor Organization signed the Recommendation Concerning the Status of Teachers. It provides teachers and education professionals with an international set of standards on virtually all aspects of the teaching profession — from training to teacher deployment and, most especially, teacher quality.

    All Public School Teachers are considered as quality teachers since they pass the board exam. The only problem is that they are financially demoralized. Most of them lost they motivation. Even a 3 time National Coach winner has lost appetite in teaching due to unfair promotion practice.

    how sad, not only that, with deped’s ongoing and new ruling on hiring guideline on new teachers, it seems they’re also obliged to take competitive exams, as an example for weeding out incompetents.. isn’t that a real pain in the bu.. plus the rankings w/c they call (wrongking.. hehehe)
