MANILA, May 12 (PNA) — The Department of Education (DepEd) on Monday said that they are planning to set “speech laboratory” in every province of the country to further improve the delivery of quality English education among public elementary and secondary students.
Education secretary Jesli Lapus said, “We are going to put an English speech laboratory in every school division in the country to improve the quality of education that our students are receiving.”
Lapus said adding that improving English proficiency among elementary and secondary level students would make them more competitive with their counterparts from neighboring countries.
