Cagayan de Oro City (2 August) — Application for the Philippine Science High School scholarship is now going on, according to DOST-10 Regional Director Angelito C. Alolod.
Director Alolod said that the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) gives out scholarship slots to graduating elementary pupils who wish to study at any campus of the Philippine Science High School.
Qualified to apply are those who belong to the upper 10 percent of their graduating class; are Filipino citizens with no pending application as immigrants to any foreign country’ will not be more than 15 years old by June 2008; are in good health and fit to undergo a rigorous academic program; are of good moral character; and have not taken the PSHS national competitive examination.
