The Professional Regulation Commission and Board of Professional Teachers announces the release of 4,835 new Elementary School Teachers out of 31,306 or 15.44%, and 6,483 Secondary School Teachers out of 27,802 or 23.32% for successfully passing the Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) issued last April 18, 2010.
Here are the results:
LET Results 2010 Elementary Level
LET Results 2010 Secondary Level

I think the decreasing passing rate in the LET evidently points out to the education sector’s and PRC’s efforts in improving teacher education in the Philippines. The new LET Table of Specification (TOS) implemented since the October 2009 LET is indeed a key step in ensuring higher standards and quality of entry level teachers in the country.
We congratulate all LET passers especially passers at MindGym’s intensive coaching for LET and our TOPnotchers: Adienev Reyes and Melane Manalo (both Top 3), Noel Carena (6) and Rona Lumba (7).
Move up teachers! Be the light and hope of the next generation.
MindGym Philippines, a tutorial and review center that has been holding intensive coaching for the licensure examinations for teachers (LET) has recently proven once again that — topnotch coaches plus enough challenges plus a reviewee’s commitment to excel are the key ingredients of topping the LET.
Conducting three intensive coaching classes for LET takers for the past one and a half years, MindGym’s small group review in a jovial manner and a comfortable venue — helped three topnotchers reach their goals of becoming professional teachers this batch: Top1 Jean Millare, Top 5 Aicel Mior Alcantara, and Top 7 Jayson Calventas. With these three topnotchers, MindGym now proudly treasures a total of ten topnotchers in its alumni roster.
Inspired by the performance of its reviewees, MindGym continues to improve its LET coaching offer to enable more aspiring teachers to acquire their professional licenses and gain access to better life options in the field of education. For the April 2011 LET, coaching starts on January 8 (Batch 1) and 15 (Batch 2). MindGym encourages LET prospects to prepare themselves early starting with a proper mindset, a positive attitude, and good study plan.
