Palo, Leyte – The Department of Education (DepEd) office in Region VIII has recently approved the petition of five private schools in Leyte for increases in their tuition for this coming school year.
These schools were identified as Leyte Institute of Barugo, St Theresa School of Hilongos, Sto Niño Academy of Malitbog, Albuera Private High School and Assumption Academy of Alang-alang.
DepEd Region VIII Assistant Regional Director Alberto Escobarte said that the schools have followed their guidelines for increasing tuition such as informing the parents association in each school about the proposed hike.
