The new LET Table of Specification (TOS) implemented since the October 2009 LET is indeed a key step in ensuring higher standards and quality of entry level teachers in the country. We congratulate all LET passers especially passers at MindGym's intensive coaching for LET and our TOPnotchers: Adienev Reyes and Melane Manalo (both Top 3), Noel Carena (6) and Rona Lumba (7). Move up teachers! Be the light and hope of the next generation. But there are other concern like illegal collections of fees in JS Prom, Christmas party, etc. But the teachers are defying the DepEd orders. It become their routine business in schools because they are the ones collecting and imposing the fees and look for caterers, togas, etc. Worst, they threatened students not to sign their clearances if they can not pay. The parents are also to be blamed because they seem to show-off they can afford and not to be outdone by other parents.
