Davao City (16 May) — Philippine Science High School Southern Mindanao scholars Wayne Isaac T. Uy and Anne Marie L. Go finished in the circle of top finishers in the 2008 Metrobank-Mathematics Teaches Association of the Philippines (MTAP)-Department of Education Math Challenge held last April 5, 2008 in Makati.
Out of 67,441 participants in the nationwide mathematics contest, the tandem of Uy and Go bagged 3rd place in the team category (4th year high school) and aside from team honors, Wayne Isaac Uy also garnered 3rd place honors in the 4th year High school individual category.
